The short version
The Ornament Annual is reader-supported. Some pages carry affiliate links; if you buy something through one of them, we earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. That commission is how the publication pays its bills. It does not change what we write, which pieces we cover, or what we tell you about them.
Which programs are live
eBay. The Annual participates in the eBay Partner Network. The "live search" shelves on our collecting and guide pages are links into eBay searches; nothing is fetched from eBay until you follow one. Every link on a shelf is an affiliate link, and the shelf says so plainly right beside them.
Amazon. The Annual participates in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program. As an Amazon Associate, OrnamentTracker earns from qualifying purchases. The Amazon shelves on our collecting and roundup pages are links into Amazon searches, disclosed beside every shelf, and nothing is fetched from Amazon until you follow one.
Etsy. No Etsy shopping links are live anywhere on this site today. Pages that mention Etsy hold space for a future arrangement and carry no live links until one is real. When that changes, this notice will change with it, and the program's required disclosure wording will appear here before its first link does.
What we don't do
No page of the Annual is paid placement, and we do not publish sponsored posts. We do not run third-party advertising networks or analytics suites on this site; until you click through to a merchant, nothing on these pages talks to one, and the only shopping links that carry an identifier are the eBay and Amazon affiliate links described above. We do not sell anything ourselves, and we never claim to have tested or owned a piece unless it is genuinely on our own shelves.
The fine print, honestly kept
Prices and availability shown on merchant sites change constantly and are theirs, not ours. An affiliate link is a pointer, not an endorsement of a specific seller or listing: the judgment calls in our Hunting Vintage guide apply to anything you find through our shelves, too.
